This video is featuring the repair of multiple Rods for a BDC Worthington Crankshaft. Coastal Plating Company also repaired the Crankshaft that is associated to the Rod in video.
This particular BDC Worthington Crankshaft has a 15" Stroke (16" Rods and Mains Diameters) around 12 ft in total length weights in around 14,000 to 15,000 lbs. Crankshaft is Steal material. This Crankshaft and Rod package is normally used at plants or refineries. An Electric motor is the driving force behind these large engine parts. Not sure on the specific output of the electric motor used but we believe it's around 900hp @ 327RPM.
